ALBUM REVIEW: V/A Sven Väth In The Mix 'Sound of the Eleventh Season' 18 November on Cocoon

This is essentially Vath's overview of what's been hot on the fair isle of EyeBeefa (That's Ibiza if you don't come from East London) and as usual the German techno lord comes up trumps again with an exquisitely blended mix of said hotness over 2 discs.

There not much to say really. The tracklisting is sublime and is a who's who list of du jour artists and DJ's alike including Gerd, Brett Johnson, DJ Koze and so on and so on.

There are some brand name comfort food items that you know - when you buy them -  are going to taste the same as the last time and be equally as satisfying. Sven Vath is like a dance music equivalent and so too is this well established series from Cocoon. So if techno, house, and Ibiza is your bag then make sure you put one of these in, or get someone to put one in your stocking for crimbo.
