E3 UPDATE: Ubisoft WATCH DOGS, Flo Rida, and Far Cry 3

Forgetting the lame opening to the Ubisoft E3 2012 Conference presentation that included a hackneyed performance by Flo Rida that must have cost a lot more than it was worth, Ubisoft announced an interesting line up of games including Far Cry 3 that includes breasts people, with nipples.

The exciting part of the show was of course saved until last and rightly so as we were introduced to Aiden Pearce the protagonist and star of new game Watch Dogs. Skip to 1:31 to see the demo of what looks likely to be a defining moment in the history of Ubisoft. Watch Dogs could be Ubisoft's GTA. That remains to be seen but we can't wait for this to be released. Visit the Official Website for more information on Watch Dogs. VIDEO: Full Feature-Length Film Created with GTAIV: 'The Trashmaster'

French filmmaker Mathieu Weschler has invested two years creating the first feature-length (88 minutes) machinima movie made in the world of Grand Theft Auto IV.

The "trashmaster" divides his time between collecting garbage and cleaning up other forms of trash fouling up New York City's streets: dealers, small-time criminals... When the dancers in his favourite strip club are mysteriously killed, the trashmaster finds himself hot on the trail of a particularly twisted serial killer.

Well made, directed and with a killer soundtrack what more could you want from a GTA Fanboy film? Check it out below:

Tax relief for UK Games Industry scrapped by new UK Government

The chancellor George Osborne today announced in the LibCon emergency budget that planned tax relief and incentives for the UK video game industry will be scrapped. What does this mean for the industry as a whole?

It's too early to do anything but speculate but it will be interesting to see what companies like Activison, Ubisoft and Rockstar who all have studios in the UK make of this and how they and other video game companies react. Let's hope we don't see an exodus of talent from the UK due to today's announcement.

Update: Yves Guillemot CEO of Ubisoft speaks out on BBC against Tax relief cut: READ HERE
