ALBUM REVIEW: V/A Greg Wilson 'Credit To The Edit Vol. 2' out now on Tirk

Apologies go out for tardiness but this one was down to the Royal Mail. The comp came out in November '09 but here we are almost a whole 4 months later and I just got a listen to it.

And as all good things are, this was worth the wait; every nano second of it. The remixes speak for themselves and there is no need or desire on my part to critique them individually. As any connoisseur will tell you, you know a good track when you hear one and this is simply wall to wall. From the start with Roxy Music's 'Love Is The Drug' right through to the Third Degree's 'Mercy' at the end , this is a club freaks dream.

I was blown away by the energy of his rework of Klein & MBO's 'Dirty Talk' but my favourite two have to be 'Love Honey' by Sugar Daddy' and the track that made Ali Love (he samples it to death) 'Secret Sunday Lover by Ignition. If you haven't picked this one up yet then don't worry it's still fresh and is going to remain so for oh, at least the next millennium!

5/5
