I think it’s a mix that’s most conducive to a chilled-out environment (and state of mind). Check out part 1 of a 6hr recording of Tristan da Cunha & Frenchy warming up for Derrick Carter at one of their favourite venues in Leeds, Distrikt Bar, where they host regular Throwing Shapes parties. The intimate venue was rammed and jumping from the word off as Derrick Carter was in town and this mix was the perfect warm up.

Have you been over to Greg Wilson's Soundcloud page lately, ever, never? If you haven't heard of him by now then where have you been? Those regulars reading will know that he is one my all time favourite DJ's and one of the greatest in the world right now. Check out the video of him DJing live on The UK music TV show 'The Tube' back in '83 - he's being interviewed by Jools Holland! I haven't got through all the new additions to his live mix roaster, available to stream and download right now but of the ones I listened to so far my favourite has to be The Rizla Riverboat shuffle (listen below) and includes tracks from Jamoroquai, The XX, Queen and Everything But The Girl and lots more of course.

Hope you are all doing great on this sunny Friday in Paris!

I've just finished my brand new mix. The mix will be featured on Fairtiliser with an interview with me soon. I'll post the link as soon as it's up.

There are four different places to download it from below. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed programming it and mixing it!

I will be doing indie, hip hop, breaks and chill mixes next. I havent decided which one will be first but I'll let you know.
