There is a constant hunger in the heart of the Vainzine office for quality music and if Thievery Corporation can't satisfy the appetite then who can. That's why, even though this is a 'best of' it's so welcome. As I look outside the window from the third floor it's windy, raining, gloomy getting dark before it's time and to top it off it's freezing cold too so what better dish to warm the cockles than a slice of 'Shadows Of Ourselves' washed down with some dubby desert in the form of the delicious 'Sound The Alarm'?
Nothing can top TC and they really are at the top of their game right now which is why it was probably a good time to satisfy the need of their fans and maybe get some new ones on board before the imminent release of their 6th studio album. Of course chances are you already have most of these tracks if you are a hardcore TC addict but if you've missed one or two then now's a good chance to catch up. Oh and in case you are wondering 'Sweet Tides' is on here too :0).
